VitaMe is partnering with personal trainers around the country to share some of their favorite workouts with VitaMe customers. We’ve asked them to provide a couple of 30-minute-or less routines that you can do at home to build strength, fitness, and health.
We loved the last 30 minute workout from Lindsey Seiler, so we asked her to share her favorite beginner workout. If fitness hasn’t been your thing, getting to the gym is only half the battle. Knowing what to do once you’re there can be really hard. This workout is designed to help you build strength and lose weight — no experience required.
“Generally, in a beginner workout with someone who hasn’t exercised in awhile, I start with low-impact core and balance exercises before progressing them into higher impact, higher intensity workouts,” says Lindsey. Here is what she recommends!
Warmup: 15 minutes
If you’re at the gym, start with 5-7 minutes on the elliptical, then spend a few minutes on active stretching exercises like
Core and Balance Circuit
Do each of the following exercises three times.
Stability ball wall squats.
Repeat, then repeat again.
